School Timing

SCHOOL SESSION :
The school session is from January to December with three vacations : Summer, Puja and Christmas. The whole academic year is divided into three terms.

SCHOOL’S STUDY HOURS :
(a) Classes Nursery & K.G. : 7.00 -10.30 a.m.
(b) I to IV : 7.00 -11.00 a.m.
(excluding the winter months when school starting time is 7.15 a.m.)
(b) Classes V- XII from 11.20 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

* Late comers to be sent back home. Students coming to school in improper uniform or untidy shoes will be sent back.
Parents are requested to help their wards to develop good study habits and adhere to a time-table. The study time should be proportionate to the work load. Students of Class VII and above should put in at least 3 hours of study at home.

VISITING HOURS ON CLASS DAYS :
Parents / Guardians must not stay in the school premises during class hours. They should neither visit the class rooms nor meet their wards or teachers during class hours, unless explicitly allowed by the head of the institutions. Parents may visit teachers at 4:30 pm on any working day. Likewise, teachers may invite them to call on them through the school diary. Admittance into the school premises is at the sole discretion of the school authorities, who reserve the right to refuse admission to any one without assigning any reason whatsoever.

WEEKLY HOLIDAY :
Saturday is the weekly holiday. It is an opportunity for students to enjoy a rest from the pressure of class work and form some to make up for the loss by their absence from school. Saturdays may be working day, if necessary.
